I Saw A Hero's Welcome at BWI

"We can't all be heroes; some of us get to stand on the curb and clap as they go by.." - Will Rogers

This is what I saw. Of course, I cried. Of course I had to take this video.
If you're asking,
the best part of this video is the little boy. Teaching our children well...

In honor of all our WWII and Korean Conflict Vets
as they arrive at BWI on Southwest Airlines to visit the WWII Memorial in DC.
Be sure to check out Honor Flight
This is what they do.

As a journalist, I had the honor of going on several Honor Flights for the paper. I was supposed to be covering the events, which I did, but it was so difficult. Each trip, I spent the entire day crying. By the last one, I just left the mascara at home. Those trips are some of my best memories from stories I covered. Love those men and women! I'm so glad you were able to see this!

Thanks Victoria. I am wasted too, every time I see such honor. They so deserve it. It's good for them. It's good for us.
