There is no substitute for the presence of God in your life. You may run from it. You may fall. But trust me, you will find no replacement for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He can't be substituted. In context, take the time to read Hebrews 6 today.
I love these devotions, Sue. I remember the first time I ordered iced tea when we moved to Georgia. The unexpected shock of sweet. It's addicting, though. So's He.
And it could surely go either way- for those who order unsweetened tea and get sweetened tea - Bleh! But isn't it great to know that God makes His presence known even in the simplest of thugs! I love you, Sandra K!
Sue--just 'found' you via Sandy King on Facebook. SO refreshing to hear/see someone talk about the anointing of the Holy Spirit and God's presence. Trying to drink daily here in Seattle.
Jody - you are SO right. I'm not sure how women can find the direction of Christ in their creative lives, without the Holy Spirit's guiding, urging, and purging. Thanks for you comment.
Sue---I heard the message hear and I have re[layed to it many times since you first posted it. I could see this was hard to deliver but thank you for minding God.
My mind is made up. I only want God's perfect will for my life and nothing else. By accepting this, I am also accepting those losses that i must grieve as well but I have spent the past year grieving some of these. So much I could share about how this ministered to me but i cannot say it here. Fell free to email me at dgreentorres@gmail.com if you would like.
Dolores - I am thankful for you and your comment here. You are so right on. Oh to have the heart and mind of Christ in all situations... My email is radiosue@me.com

Auto-correct got me!!!! LOL! "Simplest of THINGS", not thugs! And then again....?
Some things are definitely thugs. And still He makes Himself known. Of course, we need to taste to see. :)
Love you, too!
Once again my dear sister you bring a smile to my face and truth to the heart! Love you much!
